Like other facility types, retail and commercial establishments are realizing the value of commissioning their new and existing storefronts, with many of these merchants now looking to obtain LEED® certification under the U.S. Green Building Council's (USGBC) "LEED® for Retail" program.

Whether they sell groceries, clothes, electronics, automobiles or various retail services, all of our retail and commercial customers seek to maximize the energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and customer comfort within their space.  Energy efficiency issues are of particular concern to our large grocery and warehouse retails with their unique refrigeration and high-bay characteristics.

In addition to commissioning and retro-commissioning, EEI has provided assessment, design, energy conservation and investigative engineering services for more than 150 retail and commercial clients.
