For more than 25 years, EEI has provided engineering services to healthcare facilities across the country and several years ago formed a separate team dedicated to working in the healthcare environment -- EEI Healthcare.  EEI Healthcare specializes in the unique and complex needs of healthcare and medical facilities.  Acting as an Owner's Representative, the Healthcare team brings its specialized expertise to the planning, engineering, operations and maintenance of these facilities, which allows the healthcare professionals to focus on their primary business.  In addition to EEI's traditional commissioning and retro-commissioning role, EEI Healthcare is heavily involved in facility assessments, engineering design reviews, master planning and other quality assurance services.

The extensive experience of our firm and its professionals in the healthcare market has given us the specialized knowledge needed to tackle complex problems in our clients' medical facilities.  Regardless of the specialized systems -- elevators, medical gas, emergency power, smoke control, fume hoods, low temperature cooling, or isolation room pressurization, our team of professionals will look for reasonable solutions with consideration always being given to infection control and the facility's bottom line.

EEI Healthcare is dedicated to bringing better planning to the design and construction process.  Through a thorough assessment of existing systems and a detailed review of construction objectives, we are able to work proactively with the medical facility owner, manager, and end-users in establishing design criteria to guide the design and construction teams through the process.  We are committed to assisting owners in finding ways to increase the operating efficiencies of their existing facilities and systems.  We assess existing equipment strengths and weaknesses, suggesting ways to optimize facility performance while utilizing the full equipment lifecycle of available resources.

Operating from the firm's branch office in Denver, Colorado and supported by EEI's personnel in 11 different states, EEI Healthcare has dedicated itself to supporting our new and existing hospital and medical center clients, and improving the economics associated with operating their facilities.  Our staff is committed to helping these facilities improve their bottom line by delivering sustainable, energy-efficient and economical facility systems -- ensuring that facility owners maximize their return on each construction dollar spent.
